A quaint, historical directory written by a life-long Guysborough resident, Hilda Cox.  In this personal narrative, she reflects upon the properties and personalities along the streets of Guysborough; as she remembered it from her childhood before the turn of the 20^th century.  She recalls many of the stories passed down to her from the Buckley family.   Her style of writing easily allows the reader to visualize strolling through the village in 1900.
