The Guysborough Historical Society, with support from the
Antigonish Women’s Resource Centre, invites everyone to:

HERstory

An International Women’s Day event on Sunday, March 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Guysborough on Highway 16.

The afternoon will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a half hour social; tea, coffee, and light luncheon.

Followed at 3 p.m. with a storytelling circle where all are encouraged to share the stories of the female role models, mentors and heroes in their lives.

With permission, the Guysborough Historical Society will collect an audio archive of the stories which will be added to the Society’s collection of local history.

Door prizes, supplied by local businesses, will be drawn at 4:30 p.m.
